Why is UNO so addictive?

A barber named Merle Robbins from Reading, Ohio invented a card game called UNO. The card game was invented in the year of 1971. The reason why UNO was made was to resolve an argument with his son about the rules of Crazy Eights. The original card deck UNO was designed and made on Robbin’s family dining room table. Robbin and his family saved about $8,000 and created the first 5,000 UNO decks to sell. Robbin first started off by selling the cards out in his barber shop, then local businesses began to sell as well. In 1981 Robbins sold the rights to UNO international games for $50,000. Now a giant toy company Mattel produces the popular card came in 80 countries, and has sold about 151 million copies worldwide.

UNO can be very addictive because it’s easy to learn and play, it’s the shedding type of card game. About 2 - 10 people can play the game, and the age range is 7 years old and up. The skills required to play UNO is keeping important cards for later, knowing when to put them down and concealing your hand. The game can normally be an hour but can go even longer. In September 1984 there was a long continuous UNO game on record for 132 hours. Each deck comes with exactly 108 UNO cards in a box. The way to start of the game is whoever shuffles the cards and deals them, the person on the left starts off. The way to play the game is by playing a card matching the discard in color, number, or symbol. Play a wild card, or wild draw four or two. The way to finish the game is calling UNO when you have one card left, then shouting UNO OUT when you drop your last card on deck.
