Dogs Are Better Than Cats

Dogs are better than cats as pets because dogs are more obedient than cats. Dogs can be trained and educated to listen to their owners. Dogs are smarter than cats that since centuries back they used dogs to hunt and protect people's property.

Dogs that are trained to sniff out drugs, weapons, and bombs in airports, train stations and other public places to keep us the U.S citizens safe from terrorists. Dogs are also trained for other jobs like to help blind people and sniff out bed bugs and do a lot of other jobs.

Cats never got trained to do anything like this because they don't the same intelligence as a dog. Dogs use more of their brain more than cats. According to Business Insider, “They might chew your shoes, occasionally pee on the rug, or snarf down your entire dinner the minute you turn your head, but it turns out your family dog is measurably smarter than your cat.” also a student in my class says that he agrees that a dog is more intelligent than a cat ‘

According to Jeancarlos he likes dogs better because “dogs are more loyal than a cats is cats go and come as they want. They do whatever they want. In my opinion dogs are smarter than cats because if someone randomly attacks you the dog would defend you no matter what. The cat wont.”.

People love their pets and all but I’ve witness myself that people have a better connection with dogs and a stronger bond, I'm guessing that dogs are just more of an understand animal.
