Nike vs Adidas

Nike and Adidas are top two sports brands competing each other on who makes the most profit.There’s a reason why Nike and Adidas are the best sports brand not because of their clothing but more importantly their sneakers.These brands release sneakers after sneakers to see who makes the most sales. Their sneakers all depends on comfort but mostly the style, with help of celebrities wearing their footwear.

Nike has been on top of Adidas dominating them on sneakers. Nike’s most popular successful footwear is their Air VaporMax and Air VaporMax plus. Also in basketball category Nike has been popular for example, Lebron James brand. According to Business Insider, “Close to 80% of footwear retailers surveyed said the "brand first indicated as strongest in running" was Nike, up from 75% in the previous survey. Meanwhile, Adidas' primary brands, the Ultraboost and NMD, had declined in mentions to 13% from 15%, according to Jefferies.”

I interviewed my brother, and he said, “ Nike is a very good brand, they have the best athletes in their company. Adidas is getting up there like for example, the Yeezys by Kanye West are a big hit and NMDS and Ultraboost. In my opinion I prefer Nike because they make the better footwear”

According to Highsnobiety.com, “Tell adidas that we need a million in production. I done told y’all all I needed was the infrastructure,” rapped Kanye West in his “Facts”. MarketWatch reports that since Yeezy’s first shoe was introduced, adidas share of the secondary sneaker market jumped from 1% to 30%. There’s also no doubt that Kanye’s sneaker sales contributed to the company’s 5% growth in North America last year. Nike is dominating Adidas for now, but will Adidas beat Nike and once again be on top?
