Michael Jordan is one of the best NBA players of all time who came out with his own pairs of sneakers which were produced by Nike, and during his NBA time period he was the best so he figured they would sell, although it was still a gamble because you never know if it was a waste of an investment until you try to build. Jordans have been a huge success. And people all ages wear them however, some people would say when jordans release in the present it has the same hype as the first release day ever, when others would say its a regular pair of sneaker and not even worth the price.
Air Jordan was originally released on the market from 1985 - 1986 year(s), then towards the mid 1990s he released the “Retro Jordans” which are still being released to this day.
Forsyth teacher Taiyo said, “Jordan Brand keeps making their shoes interesting and fly. Back in the 1990’s, there would be a new Jordan shoe like every 3-4 months. Nowadays a new pair of J’s comes out every Saturday, so it’s not as special. The prices are out of this world. In the 90’s the shoes were like $110-$120. Now some Gamma 11s are like $300 plus.”
According to Tinker Hatfield “When you sit down to design something, it can be anything, a car, a toaster, a house, a tall building or a shoe, what you draw or what you design is really a culmination of everything that you’ve seen and done in your life previous to that point” although the prices of jordans have risen Tinker is trying to say that you shouldn’t really even put a price on someone’s design. Although most people say that Jordan prices are too high and they’re “Just sneakers” most would agree with Tinker because you shouldn’t put a price on someone else’s creation.
