Our Right To Speak

In my opinion yes, student journalists should be supported by the constitutional right of ‘freedom of the press’. I think this because people can be informed to prevent certain outcomes. Also it can help people get justice in different things like bullying. For example if a kid is getting bullied in school you can speak out in the school newspaper if they aren’t being heard in the correct way. I feel this way because when you explain something to one of your friends about something you care about for example recycling and your school doesn’t recycle and you ask your friends if they can help you ask the principal about recycling. They will write in the school newspaper about it and they will maybe be able to start a club.

Others might think the opposite because sometimes people have different opinions on this because certain students feelings may be hurt because sometimes not always becasue you can hurt peoples feeling in the way you word something. And thats why its always important to know who your audience is.
