In this country everyone says that we all have the freedom of speech. Yet, in many schools journalist have been told that they are not allow to write whatever they feel. If the school doesn’t agree with your topic they won’t allow it. If this country has freedom of speech why won’t they allow students to use that right inside of school. Students have to limit what they want to write about so that the school board would be happy. The schools want to protect their reputation. But, is that worth not giving journalist the right to have freedom. Teens should be able to be supported by the constitution right of “Freedom of the press.” Even if the topic is personal it should be written unless it’s about someone else’s problems or issues. They shouldn’t have limits to what they want to be told. They should feel comfortable with what they are writing.
