THE RETURN OF NICKI MINAJ

After a 4 month long hiatus The Queen Of Rap has made her return with 2 brand new tracks Chun Li & Barbie Tingz. The rapper broke the internet on April 10th by revealing the tracks cover art which caused lots of speculation on what the tracks are going to sound like. A couple of days before then the rapper started a secret countdown by tweeting and deleting the number 4 on April 8th. Following the weeks of her hiatus the rapper has barely been seen in public besides at Beyonce & Jay Z’s Oscar after party in LA, in and out of airports in Paris & also Mercedez X Tidal launched there campaign co starring the rapper.

The tracks are known to jump back to the rappers old roots which fans know as Mixtape Nicki with the crazy hardcore flows and raunchy lyrics. Barbie Tingz really takes from her 2009 Beam Me Up Scotty Mixtape with the Barbie persona and shooting shots of being a trendsetter. Chun Li really introduces a new sound with the return of fan favorite alter egos Roman and Nicki The Ninja with a Hardcore New York beat.

According to Lizabeth Espinal she finds “the flow very sassy” & gives the songs a 8 ½, also Morgan Fanell finds the songs “very lyrical and amazing” & gives the songs a straight up 9. Chun Li received great positive reviews and was also on loop for a lot well known celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian & Blac Chyna. It held the number 1 spot on itunes for more than 48 hours with Barbie Tingz right behind it at number 2 also receiving great feedback from the general public and also having a video teaser for the song released on tidal which is set to be released soon for promotion. Fans are more anticipated than ever for her 4th studio album due out Q2 of 2018.
