Religion can affect the decisions people make. Some people feel if they follow bible teachings they will live a positive life and if they don't they will have negative outcomes. However although some believe in god they don't follow his teachings the way they interpreted it because they want to follow their own way. Each person interprets the Bible differently and that can affect decision making a great deal.
In an interview with Arthur Woodard husband of Sandra Woodard also a Pentecostal , he says before he became saved he was living bad and it made him see the straight way. He didn't follow god’s word although he knew god existed he wanted to make his own decisions he doesn't have a reason for not listening to god. Life was worse for Arthur when he didn't listen to the Bible.
In an interview with Pentecostal Sandra Woodard, she says people make decisions based on what they believe the Bible is saying. If we listen to god’s word we could make less mistakes. According to god’s word if we don't follow god's instruction our end is destruction. The couple Woodard and his wife believe life should be shaped based on bible teachings because the way that seems right for man leads to the road of destruction .
According to pew research center ,” Christians are more likely to live environmentally conscious ways if they consider these things important to what it means to be a christian.’’ Christians feel religious beliefs should be included in how one behaves in society. Religion
teaches people that if they behave a certain way they will be guaranteed a specific lifestyle.
