Applying to jobs can be difficult for High school students. Throughout high school there are many students who are having a difficult time applying to jobs that they want. There are steps high schoolers can take help themselves be noticed by employers and be more likely to get a job.
According the Balance, a website that educates teens about applying to jobs, there are some steps and ideas to keep in mind to make applications less frustrating. The article states, “don't limit yourself to certain types of jobs. This is a tough market for young job seekers. You also may not be able to find a job that you wanted. If you need a paycheck, keep an open mind when it comes to want you’ll do to earn that paycheck.”
Kristian Miranda, a student at Forsyth Satellite Academy, states, “applying to jobs are difficult because everything is online and it’s kinda hard when you just trying to apply and also just trying to get a job. Where you just can go in person.Another thing that made it difficult is when I apply to jobs is knowing if i'm going to get expected or not, I need a job to get some money”
